Crassula Ovata Sunset Cutting (10-15cm long stem with leaves)
Also known as Jade Plant, Hummel's sunset
This succulent has small white/pink flowers and makes a great garden plant or house plant. Its leaves has yellow and red spots that brightens even more in winter.
If grown indoors:
Bright indirect light close to a window will work. Alternatively direct sun for a few hours a day will do not harm.
Water only once soil has dried out.
If grown outdoors:
Bright indirect sunlight. A few hours indirect sunlight a day will do no harm.

Orders ship from our depot within 7 working days, and most are on their way sooner. A few rarer plants are ordered in specially for you, which is why we allow 7 days. Couriers don't deliver on weekends.

Crassula ovata 'Hummel's Sunset' · also known as Sunset jade, golden jade, jade plant
Native to Garden cultivar; the species is from the Eastern Cape and KZN
A fresh stem cutting of the Sunset jade, with yellow and red leaf colour that deepens in cool weather. Root it in succulent mix and it becomes a new plant.

Care made simple
Your first weeks together
- Leave the cutting somewhere dry and shaded for 2 to 5 days so the cut end can dry and seal.
- Push the bottom 3 to 4cm into a small pot of barely moist succulent mix and firm it in.
- Keep it in bright, indirect light and water lightly only once the mix is dry. Roots usually form in 3 to 6 weeks.
