Palm Peat brick

Looking to mix your own soil or an alternative to potting soil?

If you are looking for a growing medium that will retain moisture and not get soggy then palm peat is a good option.

Mix it in with your potting soil of use it by itself to plant in.

This is how to convert the brick into a soil:

• Grab a bucket (a 10l is recommended)
• Place the brick in the bucket
• Use lukewarm water, 4 liters, and add it to the bucket with the brick in.
• Let it soak for a few hours.
• Once you are sure it has completely cooled down, use your hands or big spoon to loosen up.
• You will see that it has grown in volume. This is why a larger container is recommended.
