This air plant can live indoor or outdoor.

Indoor care would require you to hang the plant in a bright window or under a grow light. You will have to mist the plant thoroughly at least once a day.

Outdoor care would require you to keep the plant moist most of the time. Mist whenever it looks dry. However to not over mist or keep it drenched permanently. Higher humidity will work in favor of this plant.  Bright indirect sunlight and no direct sunlight.
