Care card
Care made simple
Your first weeks together
- Leave the cutting somewhere dry and shaded for 1 to 3 days so the cut end can dry and seal.
- Push the bottom 2 to 3cm into a small pot of barely moist succulent mix and firm it in.
- Keep it in bright, indirect light and water lightly only once the mix is dry. Roots usually form in 3 to 6 weeks.

If you see this, do this
- Cut end turning black and softIt's rotting from too much water. Trim above the soft part, let it dry for a few days and replant in dry mix.
- Leaves wrinkling while rootingNormal for a few weeks: the cutting lives off its stored water until roots form.
- No new growth after a monthBe patient. Gently tug it: if it resists, roots have formed and growth will follow.
