About this plant
About this plant
Variegated Pachira Aquatica Money Tree
Also known as Guiana chestnut, Malabar chestnut or Water Chestnut
It is believed that the Pachira will bring prosperity and fortune when placed and grown proper in a home or business.
This money tree likes thorough and infrequent watering. Make sure you see the water gush from through the holes at the bottom of the pot and then let it dry out before watering again.
A humid room works best.
If you live in a region with dry air, be sure to place the pot on a saucer that has been filled up with pebbles and water. Important to remember that the water level must be below the top of the pebbles. The bottom of the pot must not touch the water at all as root rot will sure set in if submerged in water.
This plant will do best in medium to high indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight will burn the leaves.
It is believed that while it is thriving in or at your home, one would never be short of money.
Note: Each individual plant is unique. This image is an example only, however the plant you receive will be as close as possible to this image description.
Note: Stem length indicated above is a guide to the estimated length rather than an exact length that you will receive.
